Workshop - Motorcycle Maintenance 101

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This 3-hour introductory course is designed to establish a systematic approach to keep your motorcycle in a safe operating condition. Ride away with the confidence to perform simple routine and preventative maintenance but also know when a professional’s experience is required. This course will cover basic motorcycle component identification, pre-ride checks, proper tools for your toolbox, and what to carry with you when riding. Multi-point technical inspections are also performed on components such as brakes, suspension, electrical, engine, and more. Other basic maintenance procedures, such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, chain adjustment, and basic troubleshooting, will be discussed. All taught from an easy-to-understand layperson’s perspective, it is the perfect way to start wrenching on your bike.

Class details:
- 3 hours
- The instructor will use a demo bike in a classroom-type setting at the Motorgrrl garage. Students are encouraged to engage with the demo bike. 1-1 tech time can be purchased to follow-up.
