Is a background check required?
No. We longer require background checks. We like to get to know all of our clients and require a personal interview instead.
Does MG require a security deposit?
Yes. All deposits are refundable:
•Full Throttle Members 1 month security deposit
•First Gear Members $100 deposit
•Non Members $100 daily deposit
How does MG process membership billing?
Upon filling out our application you authorize us to charge your credit card on the first of every month. For Full Throttle Members you will be prorated until the end of the month and will be put on the billing cycle. For First Gear Members there is no prorating. Please plan accordingly.
Can I cancel my membership any time?
All memberships are month-to-month. We require a 30 day written notice. No refunds will be given for unused time or if leaving mid-month. If you have a security deposit, then it will be refunded should you not owe anything.
Can I pay in cash?
Sorry, the only forms of payment are credit or debit card.
Who is responsible for community tools?
If you Break/Lose it, you buy it. If tools are not put back in their appropriate place a $5.00 fee will imposed and your account will be charged.
Do I need to clean up the space after using it?
Yes. The next wrencher should not be cleaning up your mess. Workbenches, lifts, tools and floors should be cleaned, wiped down and clear of any debris. There is a $25 clean up fee should you be in a hurry and would like us to do it for you. This fee will be automatically charged.
Please Note First Gear Members
"Workspace Access" is only during office hours. There is no ability to take your bike out of "storage" to ride and then bring it back in again. First Gear Members storing their bikes for long term or winter storage do not have assigned slips. Full Throttle members have assigned slips where they can take their bikes in and out.
